Synthetic Drugs

Synthetic drugs are made in labs and sold to retailers under deceiving names. The most common are synthetic forms of marijuana such as K2 or Spice, and Bath Salts, a synthetic stimulant.

A common misconception for some using synthetic marijuana is to pass drug screens. Due to the increase in use of these drugs—and a DEA ban of the chemicals used in manufacturing the products—most hospital labs can now test for synthetic drugs.
