Virtual McWell Services

Due to Notre Dame's decision to move all classes online for the rest of spring semester, the staff in McWell are working hard to provide students with virtual services that can be accessed from different locations and time zones.  For the latest information about services and opportunities, follow @McWellND on social media.  For the most up to date information about the University's response to COVID-19, visit coronavirus.nd.edu.

Staff Accessibility

McWell staff continue to be available remotely during regular business hours. Staff remain active and engaged on email and social media, and are available to schedule virtual meetings to support and serve as a resource.  If you need to contact a McWell staff member please use email as your first point of contact. The main McWell email account, mcwell@nd.edu will also be monitored during normal business hours.

Dreaming Domers Sleep Program

Sleep is important for success in all things, and is especially important during stressful times to support your physical and emotional well-being.  The Dreaming Domers Sleep Program is available to students for online registration and electronic education.  For more information and to register, visit: https://mcwell.nd.edu/services/sleep-program/.  Unfortunately, sleep kits will not be available during this time period.

Substance Use Risk Reduction Meetings

A McWell staff member is available to you to meet virtually to discuss substance use concerns in a private and non-judgmental way.  For more information, visit: https://mcwell.nd.edu/services/substance-abuse-risk-reduction/.  Email Mara Trionfero Lucas to schedule an appointment.

Alcohol eCheckUpToGo

The Alcohol eCheckUpToGo is an interactive web survey that allows university students to enhance their overall well-being through risk reduction around alcohol. Students enter information about their drinking patterns and receive feedback about their use of alcohol to use to make healthier choices.  For more information, visit: https://mcwell.nd.edu/services/substance-abuse-risk-reduction/.  If you would like to discuss your results with a McWell staff member, email Mara Trionfero Lucas to schedule an appointment.

Koru Online

Koru is an nationally-known, evidence-based mindfulness program developed specifically for college students by experts at Duke University.  Typically conducted in-person,  the sessions already scheduled to begin prior to April 13 will continue in a virtual format.  Registrants will be contacted about specific details.  If you are interested in joining a future session of Koru, please visit: https://mcwell.nd.edu/services/stress/ and click on the registration link to add your name to the waitlist.
