Physical Well-Being

In order to reap the benefits of physical well-being, it is important to keep your body strong and active. Strive for 30 minutes of exercise a day for at least 5 days per week.

With more than 35 intramural sports to choose from and with the incredible Rolfs Sports Recreation Center within walking distance, you should have no problem logging your 30 minutes a day without leaving campus.

If you want to get off-campus and into South Bend check out the following recreational opportunities:

  • Biking, running, or walking the East Bank Trail, a 10-mile paved path from Angela Blvd. to Niles, MI
  • Whitewater rafting or kayaking the 1,900-foot-long East Race Waterway
  • Playing 18 holes at Warren Golf Course¬†from April to November (and taking advantage of the student discount)
