“Insist on yourself. Never imitate.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today is a day to look at what you see and how you feel about yourself. Ask yourself if you are still carrying around the identity of a cannabis user. If you are, does that identity connect to your dreams and goals. The more you value yourself, the less likely you are going to make excuses to use again.

For some people, the experience of cannabis use gave them an identity that helped them fit in, more than the peer pressure to use. Cannabis users may appear to be a little more laid back and less judgmental, which for many users offers a less threatening atmosphere. This seems especially true, if you first began using earlier on. Maybe your identity developed around this environment, attitudes about use and rationalization to protect use. In essence, you may feel as though you are protecting identity.

It is time to really examine if you are being true to yourself or imitating a lifestyle that was comfortable and safe.
